the quote about 2 million "before the end of the fiscal year" was taken about September 2015, before we even had a launch date for SFV. Now, the Fiscal year ends in March.
I'm inclined to believe that Capcom was planning on releasing at the START of their year, this using the whole 12 months to get 2 million. Expecting 2 million in a few weeks is just bafflingly insane. Plus, the face the game launched with unfinished content coming just one month later, tells me it was a rushed launch. Why? Because they wanted it to be later.
It still sold poorly, but I really don't think it was 25% as much as they expected.

Sim has the best pokes though and gets a lot of milelage from knockdowns thanks to instant air teleport mixups. His fireballs might not be as good for zoning in this iteration, but few characters can't compete with the length of his limbs.
I've got to agree that frame traps are more important in SFV than any other entry but implying that every character plays the same is wrong just because most of them have legitimate frame trap setups

My FPS goes to shit after 15 minutes no matter what my settings are, up to and including disabling v-sync. The only thing that seems to work is disabling my lone network adapter.
Beta ran fine, just the full game that has these weird memory leak issues. It's not consistent who has and doesn't have these issues.

It's not bad, it's more of a don't play stupid sort of thing. Smart FANG players will end their blockstrings in a MK cloud, so that if you try to jab or jump you get counterhit, and he can sweep or cr.MP into knockdown and start the oki shit over again.
Just play defensive and wait to block a st.HP or something, with a 3-frame jab you can almost always jab out of his normals.

I dont think his mixups are the problem.
At worst he will always have his command grab.
Bull Slider often catches people off guard because they dont expect it and his overhead is deceptively long range so you can often slam people from midrange.
Ex Revenger will always be strong too. Ex chain is also really fucking dope in the neutralgame I've noticed.
Its his defense that will fuck him over down the line. If anybody gets past his pokes its over.
And if he gets cornered its extra bad. His jump is so fucking shit and hitbox so huge that he cant ever get out of the corner.
Doesnt help that so many characters have insane corner carry in this.
