I never had problems with RDR's gunplay. With aiming sensitivity almost maxed out, it feels a lot more fluid. The gunplay's not as good as Max Payne 3's, but it works well for the game.

Yeah that really sucks. I was playing GTA V with freeaim and tried to do jobs online, I was wondering why no one is joining. Then I realised nobody plays with freeaim online so I had to switch it to autoaim which just isn't very fun. Especially when you're in free roam and people are constantly shooting at you with the lock-on

Do people still think RDR was a good game? It was just an empty GTA map that forced you to use a low end car with bad controls. The story was only about 20 minutes long if you don't count the filler side quests helping an asshole sell snake oil or helping a drunk do menial labor.

The whole online system is really clumsy, I don't know how they managed to fuck it up so bad. I like it when I try to join a job, then I get notified that the job is full and it asks if I want to join a queue. Then it starts loading a new session for whatever reason, instead of just returning me to the one I was in. The loading takes a minute and when I get into the new session, the game tells me there is a free slot. I accept, but then immediately get told that it's full again, because the slot freed up a minute ago and was filled up while the game was loading. And then it loads me into a new session again. Then there's a network error and you get thrown into single player and you spend another minute getting back online

Each Red Dead has a setting that has no connection to the other one(s) when Red Dead Redemption 2 is the sequel to RD Redemption.
It's the third iteration if you want but not Red Dead 3

RDR is excellent in many aspects but the gun balance is just retarded. It's mainly because they went for the "Upgrade" approach where each weapon is unequivocally superior to the last.
This completely fucked up Multiplayer though. Why the FUCK do semi-auto pistols do more damage than revolvers? Not only is that damn unrealistic but it's just damn fucking retarded. Gotta love that "Hi-Power" pistol which fired the 9mm doing more damage than a 44. mag.

Back in January some people were able to install it if they had it digitally, if they had the preview dashboard. Apparently they disabled the ability to play it for the people who did install it.
The theory is that they're announcing a sequel at E3 and that RDR will be included and go BC the same day it's announced.

The only thing that really cheesed my ass and DID make it feel repetitive was how long it took to upgrade from like the 2nd shotgun. All the good shit came as the game was ending nearly. Agreedo on the pistols, if they ever do make another red dead western they better have dual wield pistol ability.
