I have played that game too
This is literally the first time I've seen anyone post this game on /v/
I've been here non-stop since 2007 and browse daily
what an awesome gameno regret was better
I'll dump some art
This is not a rare game to have played OP.
>>332093165
I've played it. It was one of the first games I had for my PS1 along with Twisted Metal 2.
awesome soundtrack

>>332093670
this shit is so hard
the game literally starts with people shooting at you
Best main menu
https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=tkEdivkn4UA
I used to load it up through DOS, so it was ultra cool feeling, boot out of windows and into dos, wait on the menu and listen to the whole track play through. Man, games were different then, games were culture, not business. It was a cool time
>>332093980
>hard
hahaha
Yes, thats how games were back then, challenge was part of the deal
I miss tough games
Anyone here finish the game on "no remorse" difficulty?
>>332094247
I remember at least playing this game 5 times and never finishing it. I'm guessing the awkward controls always stop me from playing when the going gets tough in the later levels.
>>332093165
sorry to disagree with you, tincan.
It had some great music.

Fucking loved these games. Didn't care for No Regret though as the lack of a home-base with lots of people to talk to kinda put me off. Enjoyed the cheesy cinematics No Remorse had.Come!Come!Come!Come!Come!Come!Hello!Hello!Hello!Hello!!
Weasel's the name!

Everyone from your/my era played the series. Most of us also did so on the PC. Next you're gonna ask if we played Abuse.
AWWWWWW SHIT NIGGA THIS FUCKING GAME
https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Vu5XA5CDNxw
I miss tank controls
>>332094616
If you disliked the awkward controls, you should play no regret, its awesome
https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=sdd9o9YpNB0
you can roll non stop in every direction and shoot at people, its awesome
>>332093165
its one of my favorite games of all time, I've played it to death, and it never gets old. Arguably a masterpiece, a perfect role model for videogames. Its all cool music, non-stop challenging gameplay, beautiful 2d art
>>332095223
You could do the roll & shoot in No Remorse as well, did it when possible since it's the best chance of not getting slaughtered.
>>332095447
oh shit seriously? It was advertised as a "new" feature in the no regret box?? I always took them at their word and never actually played no remorseyet
ITT:
People who just watched LGR best game cover art part 3
name your favorite feature of the game
high contenders:
1)enemies using active camouflage as vending machines
2)spider mines
3)blowing the enemy up with the rocket launchers and sending them screaming in flames
I fucking love Inquisitor.
At least they put the shitty Ultima 8 engine to good use with Crusader.

favorite tracks
Project Airos was a shitty RTS with a neat gimmick, where most units, tanks, etc could run out of ammo, and you had to have a supply chain going. You could also customize a lot of units.
I found it in a bargain bin in 1998 or something and paid five Finnish marks for it. That's just under one dollar.

Those were fun when they came out, but aged like dogshit.

the soundtrack for these games was on fucking point
>>332095092
me too.
they better have tank controls in the new resident evil 2 remake or at least an option to play with tank controls.
I don´t know why but games with tank controls feel ultra comfy for me.
maybe it has to do with nostalgia
>>332101217
fuck you whippersnapper
>>332101217
Ebic you sure showed them with your spunky youth young lad XDDD
>>332093165
fuck, that's my favorite childhood game ever, just so many great badass moments
so a few years ago the first thing I did after discovering dosbox was replaying no remorse and no regret and they were so nostalgic.
That gun that literally melts people, the one that freezes them, the one that turns enemies into skeletons with pink spots, the malfunctioning teleporter that melted you, drowning in acid, controlling enemy mechs, blowing up moon stations.
All great moments I still fondly remember
>>332093165
They gave it for free on Origin.
>>332093165
Playing this as we speak. Doubt any of you played this before.
Blaze & Blade (pc version). Pretty sure I'm the only one who's ever heard of it
Well of souls was one of the greatest online games I've ever played. So much fun, and the fact you could make your own game with it's engine was groundbreaking
>>332093165
How pissed were you when EA decided to use the Origin brand name for their games client?
YOU GOT THIS SILLY WAY
OF KEEPING ME ON THE EDGE OF MY SEAT
BUT YOUR ONLY COUNTING THE CLOCK AGAINST THE TRAIN
AND I'M MISERABLE
AND YOU'RE JUST GETTING STARTED!
(I'M MISERABLE!)
YOU GOT ME RIGHT WHERE YOU WANT ME
aka, vibrator the game.
Anyone?
>>332102937
>When your game is so obscure you kill the thread
>>332093165
>Crusader No Remorse
I didn't played it but this name somehow got stuck in my head since it was released. Dunno why.
>>332093165
damnit OP don't talk about this fucking awesome game or some shitter company will remake it terribly
>>332104058
Hopefully as a Kickstarter.
>>332104058
there was a proposal for a psp port at a certain point but EA refused.
Now EA reused the Origin name for their shitty content delivery system, what a time to be alive!
>>332104437
The original composer made a remix of the Crusader theme for the PSP version, but yeah, the project ended up dying quickly.
https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=VZq-YvEUnyA
>>332104153
>>332104437
That's good. Leave Crusader buried. Let it rest in peace.
>PS1 Version
I regretted playing that version so much. I couldn't into the controls.
>>332104898
It wouldn't be very successful nowadays, anyway
>>332104987
Good.
>those bastard birds
>that creepy hydra
The mere sight of it K.O'd my brain and I posted the picture in the wrong thread, on the wrong board, it was terrible but it was there on my mom's w98 PC so I played it. There existed a whole series of these, one for each Disney cartoon or something like that.
