You know, this game really wasn't that bad, if they had lengthened it and had more arwing sections to match the amount of on foot ones it could have been the best Star Fox game to date. How did we go from Asssault to Command?

Only problems with it:

Unfortunately you can't. There are only 2 characters you can unlock for Multiplayer Mode who are Peppy Hare and Wolf O'Donnell. All that other shit only appears in Story Mode

Yes, it was called Dinosaur Planet. Apparently Nintendo told Rare to port the game to GC and then Miyamoto said that it could be better if become a SF game...just when the game was almost over
You can heard almost all of the voices dialogues in the SF Adventures data, even endgame when supposedly Sabre dies
I spent countles hours dicking around in Assaults multiplayer maps by myself.
Getting one of the jetpacks and flying around was the best thing ever, It felt so open and fun to explore. The zoness rigs where it was raining reminded me of that one planet in attack of the Clones. With all the rain and shit.

Never owned a Wii and I'm contemplating buying a Wii U, can I play GameCube games on the Wii U or play them digitally? The last Star Fox game I played was Adventure and it's been my favorite Nintendo series since it debuted on the SNES, since Star Fox has been fucked harder than Metroid, is there any chance I can relive the older games on a Wii U?

Honestly, get yourself an original gamecube. Its small, easy to store, and gives you the entire GC library, as well as the GBA player to enjoy GBA games.

If you replay your GC games often, the prices really aren't that bad. I'd rather pay $40 for a game I know i'll enjoy and replay then $60 on a brand new game that I may or may not even like and is flavor of the month.
I buy GC games based on things I'm interested at at the time. Nice thing about the high prices, is they work both ways.
Say you buy Skies of Arcadia at its base value ($70) If you end up not linking the game, you can now sell it back for the same price you bought it for ($70) As long as you have no undercuts or competition.
In the end, you end up getting your money back, and can then look into new things. I've lived off $500 on vidya for the past 6 months just by selling and buying with the same amount of cash each time I get something I don't want to keep.

Okay, just not quite up to the starfox standard and the actual Arwing portions were abysmal.
The only irredeemable Star Fox game is Command, but they're all weak in some regard except for 64. I loved Assault personally, but fuck those ground segments, and i'm not inherently opposed to the ground stuff being incorporated, just needed to be better.
