No it isn't. I emulate on phone with a moga controller, Wii with both the classic and a GC controller, and on PC with a Bone controller and not once have I craved the original hardware or controller. I had a quick go on a real n64 the other day and I enjoyed super Mario 64 on it LESS than I did with any of my emulation devices. Its all personal tastes bruh.
