Getting an old crt tv and a 6th gen console
Already have a ps2 and played it's library to death, should I get a classic xbox or a gamecube?
I mostly like co op games, comfy games, horror games, and fast paced action games

Bawx is better for multiplayer/co-op games and action, FPS, racing. Cube is better for comfy games. Horror, well, Xbox has Fatal Frame 1 & 2 and Silent Hill 2 & 4. Cube on the other hand has REmake, RE0, RE4, and Eternal Darkness.

It depends on how close you are sitting. anymore than a few feet away and 13 will be very small. it really becomes a problem though if you are going to have one shipped. it's really the only reason I've ever gone to garage sales.

I've had a GameCube since 2003. I don't have many games for it because the PS2 was so good. I already played the Zelda Collection, Double Dash and Mario Party and still have yet to completely start paper mario. Give me some recs.

GameCube is my favorite system but from what you want id say Xbox. There's great action games like ninja gaiden and otogi and lots of coop. GameCube has more horror tho.

The Ada missions and Mercenaries are only noteworthy things the PS2 version has. I never messed with those much so I guess that's why I prefer the GC. The Wii version is the best for some crazy fun arcade action but since the game wasn't designed for the Wii remote, it makes an already somewhat easy game even easier

Xbox was my favorite at the time but most of my favorite games on it were actually also on PC (or on the PC now anyways: morrowind, Kotor) my favorite actual exclusive off the top of my head was phantom crash but there was another game in the same series on ps2 so it's not the biggest loss.
In retrospect definitely go with GameCube, Nintendo always has great exclusives. Although GameCube is very much emulatable

okay but keep in mind that softmodding an xbox involves buying a few things. you'll need a flash drive, female pc usb to xbox controller part cable, an ide hard drive, some torx screwdrivers, and a copy of the original splinter cell (NOT a greatest hits or goty version i believe). its been awhile since i did this but it was worth it. there are some pretty good guides on youtube that cover everything.

If you're swapping the hard drive, then there's no point doing the splinter cell mod. You can plug the hard drive into your PC and mod it that way.
