Stardew Valley.
For fifteen dollars it's a neat game. A total rip off of Harvest Moon, specifically the Mineral Town ones, but done pretty well with some fun crafting mechanics. The game breaks quite a bit once you have sprinklers and some item converters (crystalarium, preserves jar, etc) but even then it took until like 55 hours before it began to slow. I really enjoyed the community center tasks too since it challenges the player to search for objects and grow crops they may not otherwise invest in.

I hate that fires cause hull damage, it's always the best when you can bake the entire enemy crew and watch them desperately run around trying to put out the fires
the game sorely lacks diversity though, you quickly get bored of the same weapons and same enemies every time. I wish there was an option for biological/chemical weapons, larger ships etc.

I've just been playing Resident Evil Revelations. It seems like a step back towards the original direction. I get that zombies have have been doneto deathbut I think the spoopy fish slime monsters are just a little too goofy looking. Still a good game so far though.

You consider sprinklers game breaking? It's just common sense considering this is set in a modern age. The pickling jars and kegs are also a great idea, if I had a farm I'd want to produce refined consumables.

FFXII: International Zodiac Job System
Fixes multiple complaints from the original version by adding a separate bar for limit breaks, a class system thats like picking jobs from the original Final Fantasy, and most importantly it adds a speedup function.
I liked the story too, even if it is pretty basic.
