Ratchet first, Jak second, Sly last because I never played those games. They look good tho.

Ratchet has the best world.
Sly has the most consistent gameplay and writing throughout its entire series.
Personally I'd list them as
Jak > Sly > Ratchet
But that's very biased towards Jak since they were the ones I grew up on. I played Sly and Ratchet at friends' houses.
Going Commando > Jak 1 = Sly 2 > Ratchet 1 = Jak 2 > Up Your Arsenal > Jak 3 > Sly 3 > Sly 1

Get the trilogy. It's good on both Vita and PS3, but they're 30fps instead of 60fps on Vita. Still great though.

Sly was just always underutilized. I feel like any of those games were more super basic tech demos then they were anything challenging or rewarding to play.

I loved the ratchet and clank games on the PS2, but it seemed like the humor got worse with every game. Didn't get a PS3, so I don't know how it got after that.
Going Commando was my favorite out of all the PS2 Ratchet/Jak/Sly games. Shit was maximum comfy.
