I can get a new 3ds and MH4U for around $100. Is it worth it? Also MH thread I guess
Yep that's an insane deal. Is the screen fucked up?

No. I'm buying it refurbished but I have a couple things to trade in that knock the price down.
when it comes to buying a used handheld, only buy it if it's basically "like new" condition, unless they give you an insane deal on it. I wouldn't pay more than $40 for a 3ds if it were all scratched up, but $100 sounds reasonable if it's virtually flawless.

That $100 includes the game too. The system is around $75

XL or normal?

who gives a shit about the game? you can hack a 3DS and download games now.
I'd say go for it. I only got the console for that price when I bought it second-hand (like new) a few years ago.

I think I might. I'm on vacation right now and won't be home for a few days so I have some time to think about it. I'm leaning towards yes though

Literally just got this deal

breddy good deal if you really want it I guess. My 3DS is gathering a lot of dust however.
Looking back at the PSP's release history, the total amount of games saw on it was 4.
Generations marks the fourth release on 3DS. I'd be surprised to see the 3DS be home to more monhun games than the PSP.
Also how is the online scene for 4U? I played Freedom Unite back on psp and that's the only other copy I physically owned. Will I be able to play over wifi? I don't think that was a thing on Freedom Unite.

Yeah you can play over wifi. It's pretty good.
New to Monhun games but I've heard of their popularity from reading shitty Nip webnovels.
Any good tips for a first timer with 4U? I think I'll go either dual wield or great sword since they look the coolest but I can be persuaded otherwise.

Take the game at your own pace. No weapon is beat weapon so just use the one you like the most and get really good with it. If you want to practice all the weapons then do the 1* Great Jaggi quests with each one. It's a nice way to get familiar with all of them. Do all the offline quests before you go online since online is harder and don't want to be a liability for your team. This game can get grindy, but it's only as grindy as you make it. Kinda. If you like to make a lot of weapons and make a lot of armor sets then it can be long as fuck. It is for me since I use almost all the weapons. I've got 590 hours and I'm still not done. This game does have 1% drops so get ready to grind a bit. Have fun.

Do it, and trade game in for new Monster hunter game coming in june
>>331863139
Worth it, especially if you hack it. Remember you will need a tiny screwdriver if you want to switch sd cards and you might want to consider switching the nipple out if you plan to play monster hunter a lot
hack it bro
