>people think Nintendo, of all companies, will introduce this tech to the world, for video games of all things.

How delusional can you seriously be? Not Google. Not apple, but nintendo. Lmfao senpai.
>>
>>331847843
I thought the patent is for haptic sticks? Like what xbox is doing with their triggers? Pretty redundant when you can achieve the same result with normal rumble like in lockpikcing minigames.
>>
>>331847843
>not HTC
>>
>>331848071
Ever since the " leaks" they seem to think that no buttons means that they are getting active smart screens on the nx. Tech that hasn't been mass produced and tested yet.
>>
>>331847843
Well, Nintendo does have the patent for twin sticks over a screen so fuck off op
>>
>>331848325
>>
>>331848418
I'm not talking about the analog sticks. I'm taking about a smart screen that has no buttons, and then at a prompt, buttons raise out of the touch screen to use.
>>
>>331848514
Point me to that patent famiglia
>>
>>331848616
I don't know anything about it. If you go to the NX threads, they keep posting webms of this tech.
>>
>>331848880
You see the OP picture does that look like a Nintendo device to you?
>>
Some company should make a barley functioning prototype with all kinds of shit that doesn't belong on a touch screen like speakers, track balls mouse wheels, racing wheels a d-pad triggers and patent it then sue anyone who tries to implement them later
>>
>>331848987
I don't think you are understanding. The NX controller leaks have no physical buttons (A, B, d pad). So, in response to people making fun of the controller for said reason (no physical buttons) they keep posting images and webms of this technology(from other companies) where rounded haptic buttons raise out of the otherwise flat touch screen.
>>
>>331849165
So don't claim Nintendo have a patent for it then. Now what did you learn today?
>>
>>331848224
>run of the mill chinkshit tech company that just repackages things

yeah, sure.
>>
>>331847843
who are you quoting?
>>
>>331849457
Who the fuck said anything about a patent but you? Are you seriously retarded? I'm genuinely curious.
>>
>>331847843
>apple
>introducing ANYTHING besides overpriced shit
>>
>>331849637
See >>331848325 and >>331848514

Now what did you learn today?
>>
>>331847843
>believing the leaks are real
Just like Marionette and the Wii being a VR headset, right?
>>
>>331848514
holy shit that's a thing?
fuckin hell what an age we're living in
that's incredible
>>
>>331849803
All you did was refer back to your string of replies that make no sense and have nothing to do with the topic. It's not the analog sticks in question here. Holy shit.

Is this the nintendo audience?
>>
>>331849803
you're retarded

reading comprehension motherfucker

not even the guy ur arguing with
>>
>>331849918
>>331849963
>nintendo have a patent over sticks on touchscreen
>but hey these guys have them too
>not that but the haptic magic touchscreen buttons
>okay so where is it
>my cool friends online kept on telling me
>okay so where is it
>fuck off who said anything about patents?
>>
>>331850095

>>331815092
>>
>>331850475
Again, does that look like a Nintendo device?
>>
>>331848987
can you even read numbnuts?
>>
>>331850753
Yes I can. Can you? The guy implies that the patent is there because all his friends on /v/ told him that. See >>331848325 and >>331848514
>>
>>331850887
I never said anything about patents. I was saying that people in nx threads are saying that this technology will be utilized in the controller. Wow I can't believe I keep replying to you but here I am. My god, you might be the dumbest person I've ever had the displeasure of talking to on here. Congratulations.
>>
>>331851080
See >>331848325 and >>331848514
How does your sentence structure makes any sense either than talking about the patent?
>>
>>331851201
HEY EVERYONE COME LOOK AT HOW DUMB THIS ANON IS.

absolutely staggering.
>>
>>331851201
*other than
>>
>>331847843
>the same company that thought the vitality sensor was a good thing for gaming
>the same company that made the virual boy
>the same company that popularized shitty, inaccurate motion controls
>the same company that made ROB

nintendo have been fucking around with "innovation" since the 90's, and 9 times out of 10 it flops badly
hell, the wii was the first real success they'd had with these ideas, and it didn't last because their next innovation (the wiiU) flopped again

why do you find it so hard to believe they would make another shitty idea that won't work?
>>
>>331851273
Prove I'm dumb. Explain your sentence structure and choice of words.
>>
>>331851339
You've proven it on your own plenty in this thread.
>>
>>331851387
How? By pointing out your wrong statements again and again?
>>
>>331851437
You literally cannot read or comprehend sentence structure.
>>
>>331851524
Then explain your sentence structure brah and prove that I'm stupid. Go ahead.
>>
>>331851597
Dude. Wow. Somebody screencap this shit.
>>
>>331847843
Google and Apple don't do video games retard, of course it would boil down to Nintendo.
>>
>>331848071
I thought that was just haptic. No way that Nintendo use a new tech that is too cost
>>
Of course they're not introduce this tech. Because the leak is fake
>>
>>331851704
How about you do it so that you can post it later and prove to everybody that you were right. Make sure to get everything.
>>
>>331851925
The leak never showed the raising buttons so it's not fake on that part.
>>
>>331851849
The Wii gyro controls were the first application of the new generation of MEMS
>>
>>331847843
>for video games of all time
Whats wrong with making tech for a multi-billion dollar industry?
>>

1077038206_small.jpg
19 KB, 400x353
>people believing the leak is real
>>
>>331852026
Yes, because both leaks are actually mockups made by one dude for shits and giggles
>>
>>331852171
>people believing it's fake
>>
>>331852067
Pretty sure that was Samba de Amigo
>>
>>331852214
>I believe everything on the Internet!
>>
>>331852216
I dunno, that's what the guy at the company that manufactured the MEMS for the Wii told us at their panel in my uni, maybe he was just shilling
>>
>>331849165
>>331849845
What purpose could this tech serve outside of video games? Even with video games it seems wholly useless since most games use the same control scheme anyway.
>>
>>331852643
The most useful application I can think of is enabling blind people to use smartphones, but that's it
>>
>>331852643
