If you're going to be doing full 15-minute playthrough videos, don't expect many subscribers or views. Make sure you really want to do this and will enjoy what you're doing regardless of the views you receive.

Not OP but I was thinking of starting one with a group of friends, kind of variety style. I'm not a fan of Let's Plays but I think it would be a fun way to spice up our friendships and a nice excuse to get together and game. If I'm going to watch somebody play a video game I either want to learn something new, like those guys who stream MGS 24/7, or I'm watching a silent long play. The other guys tend to learn more towards the fad channels like achievement hunter / roosterteeth, angry Joe, sw1tcher.
Think there's any merit to what we're doing? Personally not interested in any money but the bubble hasn't burst yet and who knows what may happen.
