What does /v/ think of Factorio?
It'sfun.
It's come a long way since its crowdfunding days.

fun until you build everything - maybe 3-4 hours ingame time.
then has almost no replay value whatsoever.
worth a pirate
kinda like banished
It was more fun early on in the development when something new was added every month.
Now it went all stable and has lost all replayability.
>>331782126
I feel that there's a lot more replay value in refining automation and your designs of stuff. Getting things compact, neat and tidy while still being functional and efficient is a decent challenge.

>what are mods
I know we allow console monkeys to post but there are tons of mods that make the game more challenging/have a much more content towards endgame
>>331782126
The fuck? It took me 32 hours to build a rocket and I sure as hell didn't build everything I could. Yea, you're trolling.
Even the speedrun is 2 hours and 15 minutes which skips 80% of the stuff you can make and has a seed with ridiculous resources so it's basically cheating.
Post 'em
The game is great, it's basically everything I ever wished Tekkit could be and more
>>331783104
I'm kind of happy how mine turned out. I had no idea what I was doing so I just kept patching it to make it work. I should have left more space for certain stuff, but eh. I'll maybe play again in patch 0.13.
>tfw only autistic enough to comfortably get to red and green automation
>early assIt looks pretty fun. Probably should have bought it instead of Starmeme valley.
>>331782126
>3-4 hours to build everything as a beginner
t. someone who has never played
>>331783579
blue isn't much harder than green once you get oil sorted
>>331783579
I thought blue science would be a nightmare once.
Turns out it's actually easy.
You'll likely get so absorbed in planning it out that it'll be done before you know it.
>>331783579
Setting up oil is the only hard part
The easiest way is to find the nearest oil, process it into sulfur and plastic on the spot, then ship those to your base and craft anything else you need there

>i played through the first 2 campaign and quit
>>331782593
I'm 60 hours in and I am only now approaching rocket tech.
I'll hit the mods and co-op only after I have built the rocket with my own little hands. And robot helpers.
>>331783579
Make sure to automate those electronic circuits, then it becomes easy. From there on, the world's your oyster, to be honest family.
>>331783679
What's wrong with Mtndew Valley? I find it pretty good.
>Blue science with Bobs mods
Kill me

I'm at a crossroads between factario and stardew valley. I like OpenTTD a lot. Which one do you guys think is closer to OpenTTD?
>>331781296
I think I'll start my third factory. First one was a mess, second one works with some micromanagement and a lot of clogged belts. Baby steps.I play with pacifist mode
>>331788132
Nothing is wrong with it, it's just I find I would enjoy factorio more
literal autism
enjoyment derived from optimization
it's ok
The game is amazing, but i still think it has space to grow. Adding air techs like pilotable and automated VTOLs, airborne enemies and sea exploration would be pretty cool. Also mechs.
Not to say there's plenty already, but again, it would be cool.
>>331788904
Stardew Valley is just Harvest Moon lite, isn't it?
Factorio is full logistics, just like OpenTTD
>>331789591
It reminds me of The Settlers. But on industrial grade roids.
>>331789547
>keeping main bus lines all adjacent and just using underground belts to make space for splitters
Why didn't I think of that
Mine are in pairs of two with two tiles of space in between
