Turn based games that own it, like Divinity OS and XCOM are GOAT.

Out of all the games to "remake" with new graphics, why pick KOTOR? There's no point, it looks fine, and it's a dialogue-heavy WRPG. I doubt the animations would be any better considering it's a fan project, and they probably aren't competent enough to meaningfully improve the combat.

Well if you look at stuff like OpenMW, OpenRCT2, etc. they're all "released" but it's not like that really makes a difference because they're in perpetual development. Even when they hit 1.0 it's not like development is going to stop.
