You really want to activate haptic feedback if you're emulating - all good emulators have the option somewhere in the settings menu. Its not as good as actual buttons but its a decent substitute.

Pokemon Perfect Soul Silver, Devil Survivor, Persona 3P Portable...I don't give much shit unless I get controler but practically any non-action/turn based game can be played usually even better than on 3DS (due to the fact you need only hand to play)

Well I still have a ds and psp because emulation for both on mobile still needs work. I'm not paying 6 bucks for drastic and all cracked versions I find are months and months out of date.
I emulate the shit out of almost everything else though. Even dream cast is great for the handful of games I play (skies, seventh cross evolution, sa/2)

What emu are you using? Cause no ds emu on phones is worth a fuck besides drastic and the devs purposefully put out broken apks for pirates.
Try the drastic demo if you haven't and see if it's still buggy. Then you cna do like me and farm Google opinion rewards for play store credit.
