it's a tragic, tragic shame that cancerous meme culture and childish internet teenagers ruined vaporwave
as an artistic movement it was totally fascinating and really on the brink of something. the actual concept of art that acts as a self-aware realisation of how nostalgia can be relived was groundbreaking. let alone the audio itself - some of the albums that came out were outright stunning
