Capcom are afraid to reveal RE7 because they're not sure they can make another game as awesome as Resident Evil 6.

I had a very unpleasant time with re6. But I am glad oyu enjoyed it anon. I haven't had a good time with RE games since code veronica. I couldn't make myself like 4 past the first half of the game

I too hope for another random pile of mechanics and assets thrown together with no rhyme or reason.
RE6 is, if Capcom wasn't lying about it, a textbook example of "too many cooks in the kitchen spoils the stew".
If this truly had the biggest dev team Capcom has ever thrown at a project, more bodies was definitely not the solution.
