Tifa's stats are shit compared to her for magic-related stuff, especially healing.
In fact, Tifa's stats are kind of "meh" all around, and her limits can either be great or suck depending on how good you are at slots.

Aeris in is kind of broken in general. Using her always feels like cheating because she can simultaenously be a dedicated healer and wild magic firehose, and her limits lets her be one hell of a damage sponge at later levels if you use the cover materia because they just bring her and everyone else right back to tip top shape.
Yuffie is literally the only character I wish they redesign in the remake. Mostly give her bigger thighs.

you can fully heal in an instant and do constant high damage attacks, while tifa is completely fucked 99% of the time
