Unfortunately, while the characters were all fun to play, they were mostly one-dimensional, boring nip cliche chuckleheads and the two literally whos got all the story spotlight (at least, as far as I played)

After playing type-0, I can see ff15 has taken notes from the combat system. Removed the shitty two abilities/magic rule from characters and playing more than one character. Such a huge chore to play leveling all the characters equally.

That was most likely because of the system it was originally on. The game was build around a handheld so of course it had limits.

It was a great handheld game. I liked the difficulty and the kill shots. Shouldn't have been ported to consoles. Wish I could have played it on my vita.
