Easiest boss ever.
Well not really but what you need to do is try to memorize his combos.
Don't try to attack just keep dodging until you know exactly what he is going to do then you can start attacking.

How to memorize his combos when he has no tells?
One of the harder bosses simply because all his combos split into different attacks and sometimes don't continue
just takes practicing rolling on reaction

Attack until health is depleted. Prevent your own health from being depleted before his.

Just try staying alive for 30 minutes in the room.
Your brain will memorize them for you.

You don't know true pain until you've killed him twice in a row for two souls for each of his swords
This motherfucker easily has the highest death count for me in the game
Get a shield with 100% physical and fire and you're set.

He can't be tanked.
Once you get to his arena, rush to him. You can deal a couple free hits to him when he's rising from the floor.
The safest moment to hit him is after he attacks with the big sword.
Only heal when he's in the middle of an attack animation; otherwise he will rush towards you, hitting you with his small sword.
During his second fase only back off when he uses the fire spheres attack. The 360° Fire attack can be easily evaded by running (or even walking) to his left.
Jump to the right when he uses the forward plunge attack.

If I remember right rolling to his left is essentially always safe. But you want to dodge most of his hits with your i-frames because his hit boxes are so wonky. Use your roll to position yourself for a counter attack as much as anything. But above all be patient his "thing" is supposed to be variable combos which is a dumb trait to give a souls boss so take it slow.
ds2 breaks the moment you realize you can just go naked and use the extra stamina to roll through boss attacks
put a +staminat sheild on your back and use a light weapon like rapier, falchion, or twinblade
i beat the entire game using only the tesledore armor you get from killing the armor salesman and without summoning any help

I hate CGI so fucking much.
He was super hard for me, but the most enjoyable. He surpassed artorias as my favorite boss in the series (only played Dark Souls 1 & 2)

All of his attacks do shittons of damage
All of his attacks have huge range
He powers up midway through the fight
Never roll to the side or away, ALWAYS roll into his dick, get two hits in then roll out of there

I was a hexer and was doing fuckall damage, ended up upgrading that miracle mace just for the fight, using the self buff miracle, and r1ing him a couple times in between his attacks
took like 4 hours but I managed to do it
