>>331611946
That game was actually surprisingly good. The sequel was pretty shit, though.
>>331612067Elite Beat Agents was the only reason I listened to them
>>331611946
Does anyone know if Steam or PS2 is better?
>>331610971
what the fuck bird is that
Dual Hearts was neat. Had cool environments consisting of the dreams and nightmares of the villagers in town. Also had a LoZ feel with fun puzzles and new equipment all the time. You could dual-wield stuff so having a sword and grappling hook to fight with was neat. I liked it, though it was pretty generic outside of the dream environments. That and way too many timed puzzles if I'm remembering correctly.
Still have the game too. It's somewhere in my collection.
terrifying game btw
>>331612289
A Vulture, known for having a strong stomach acid that can digest bones. These things eat BONES, if you can't be more badass then get ouf of my face

I don't even remember the name of that game. I just remember it was from top-down perspective, the game was a very huge semi-randomly generated dungeon with several bosses.
I think player's abilities were something about holding down a button and destroying/reflecting enemy bullets or something.
After every boss all normal enemies got buffed and the floor's background color changed. At the last boss the floor became pretty epileptic iirc.
Some freeware shit but I just can't remember what it was called.
this was a surprisingly fun game
>>331612279
Steam, its more up to date and has a bigger variety of games

Oh, so that's where the dinosaurs went
A 10mb doujin game featuring an obscure girl from another obscure doujin game, which probably can't be found on the internet anymore.
America's 10 most wanted (Known in America as 'Fugitive Hunter' on the PS2)
It was shit but had a bitching soundtrack. Also hilarious to play.
>>331610971
Outside of really obscure stuff on old shareware disks like Brudal Baddle, I'd probably say Exploding Lips, if only because there is such a weird story surrounding the game.
>>331613442
Pretty solid game, came out of that weird xbox arcade time with shit like cloning clyde.

I dunno, I think I already had Halo or something that came with it.

The falcon swooped in to grab the whole bird, but only latched onto the head. The head was ripped clean off.

Starshot: Space Circus Fever.
It's an N64 game, presumably some kind of collectathon platformer. It's terrible. The second level is literally broken to the point that you get stuck if you try to get a necessary item.

Too many to list, I'll just name one of the more well known of the most obscure.
And that'd be Monline, a game where you're trapped in a VRMMO and losing in battle/doing something dumb will usually end up with you being transformed into a monstergirl and getting a bad/good end depending on how you view it.

That's not actually true.
An MMO called 2Moons. Looked like literal shit for graphics. Old-ass f2p MMO. I've seen it mentioned on /v/ (by another name) a whopping one time in eight-and-a-half years.

>>331616678
I played that, it was great. Only on /v/ have I met other people who've played it. I tried playing it again recently and got stuck at the arena part where you have to use the wrench to deconstruct yourself. Couldn't figure out the timing.

Did you know the cuckoo bird is a parasite that when the time is appropriate , visits another birds nest, pushes one egg out and lays her own? The cuckoo baby is much larger than the regular bird so it pushes it's "sibling" to it's death and the momma raises the false youngling to adulthood. Even when the bird ends up sometimes thrice her size she obediently serves it. I imagine this is where cuck comes from, I saw this on Netflix tonight and just wanted to share.
Genuinely loved it.

I get the feeling they tried to mix some board game shit, I won't say chess because that's not really it, and RPG mechanics into one thing.
It wasn't tactics RPG either your attacks took up squares and everything but you didn't really have much room for being tactical about positioning.
Anyway where I'm going with this is the fact it was at the very least not a bad idea in theory, until they made it so you had to work so pointlessly hard to get any of your golems decent. That sort of shit kills your gimmick. It wasn't ultra hard or anything but the very idea of making it so new golems are less capable than old ones unless you go out your way makes it so you generally just don't feel like wasting the time bothering. They should have balanced the game around quick builds and quick kills so you can experience more of the variety without feeling you were being dragged through the mud for it. I have other complaints about its pacing and delivery but it's really just not worth it. Again, not a bad game but they dropped the ball so hard it turned into a flat circle.
I win this thread

>>331620281
If it's not obscure how come fucking nobody talks about it so I can share my struggles with using fucking Backlash
Inquisitor is pretty niche.
I didn't even get a third of the way in though, the writing is great and I love the atmosphere, but the combat is absolute ass. I didn't even get to my first heretic burning which sucks.
>>331620878
No one wants to remember the Backlash and how it was used in nearly every level and constituted to a vastly more difficult experience that the game actually warranted. And it wasn't even a fun difficult, but a blood vessel bursting level of difficult for how jenky the physics were at the time, combined with the backlash just being terrible in every regard.
Bearded vultures are cool. I just finished The Life of Birds, now I'm on The Life of Reptiles. These documentaries are great, but they tend to cover the same topic over and over again. New ones are worth watching because new technology means new footage, but I'm not sure if the older docs are worth it.
The birds that learned how to drop bones onto rocks to crack them impressed me. Nature's cool.
it sucks

I played this shitty game on my PC when I was younger. You had to build a shitty tiny robot to solve an obstacle course or something I think. I'm pretty sure it wasn't a random flash game. There may have been fmvs somewhere in the game with some lame ass kids. I could never figure anything out because I was mildly retarded

For real time strategy game on the Gameboy Color, this was actually pretty well done, and the wizards were fun enough.
I really hope I wasn't the only person here that played this.
I don't really know what counts as obscure here in memeland. Best guesses:
Captain Quazar
Harald HÃ¥rdtand
King of the Zoo
>>331610971
If you had to fight this motherfucker hand to hand, how bad do you think this bird would fuck you up before you beat it to death?
Do you think you could kill it before it fatally wounded you?
You have only regular cloth to protect you - like a t-shirt and pair of jeans. Shoes.
When it swoops in, I'm pretty sure I could land a perfectly timed and executed roundhouse to its face and snap its neck before it could get to my guts or eyes.
They've got hollow bones, right? So my foot would fuck it up pretty handily. Also, my reflexes are pretty tight from arena shootan back in the day.

10/10 game. i still wanta high res remake
Not obscure, but everyone forgot about it.
Not sure if obscure or just older but fuck it, it's still my favorite mech game.
Not sure if this is obscure, but it was PS2/DC only, and got a nice HD remake on Xbox that never came to PC (FUCK YOU Xbox Live!)
It came free once with a PC gaming magazine, I really enjoyed it a lot
One time for a history report I hunted down one of those shitty Hesbollah made PC FPS games
I captured footage and showed it in my high school history classroom and framed it as showing the propaganda that the kids in palestine would see vs the COD shit that american kids would see
it was a terrible FPS made on what seemed to be the GoldSRC engine that im sure got me on a fbi watch list for hunting down
it used the Desert Eagle model from CS1.6 and sounds ripped from Half Life and controlled like shit
easiest A I ever got, this was around like 2007-8
