You and I are going to have a talk about safety.
>>331583727
You're being hysterical.
>Get to zone
>Bang against the wall until the alien shows up
>Sneak around his dumbass AI and waltz through the level
You aren't one of those cucks who actually let the humans live are you?
You really shouldn't be here.
Why not ask me about Sevastopol safety protocols?
...What ARE you?!
>>331584671
remember when the game first came out
dank memes were had
>>331583727
As long as it's the safety of cumming in your hot robot mouth I'm all for it.
>grey stupid looking robuts
>pffahaha these are supposed to be scary?
>a few hours in
>ah fuck, there he is
>eyes turn red piercing the pitchblack sevastapol desolate solitude
>"You are becoming hysterical"
>death grip
>flail like an idiot to no avail
>die
>shit pants

I like this game, but I don't really like the gameplay involving the alien
Is there a mod or something that will disable the hostile AI so I can enjoy the story?
>>331587038
The alien is the best part of the game, what are you doing
Did you even watch the original movie?
>>331587038
i think so, actually
i remember seeing something like that
>>331587165
Yes Anon, and I saw the 2nd one in the theatre as well.
I bought the game on sale and I really wanted to get into it. I just don't like the gameplay itself, sadly. I got as far as a medical area when I just felt like I couldn't go any further. I like stealth games in general, like thief 1-3 and the like, but this one felt both too punishing and paralyzing. Like I didn't really have the tools to deal with stuff. I was crouched behind some crates and the fairly bad blip-radar would keep going off and I never felt like I could just manage to progress through skill - like it would be blind luck. Either the Alien would be there and insta-kill me, or it wouldn't and I could just get past. Instead of feelling like I could skillfully progress my way, I was just paralyzed. I didn't like that feeling, but I still felt like I wanted to get my money out of the game by at least seeing the story.
Sorry.
>>331587690
Well, since you explained it, I can't argue with that
To answer your questions, there IS a mod like that
I can't remember what it's called, check the Steam workshop
>>331583727
I want a prequel set in a factory full of these cunts.
>>331588249
As long as they never wear those fucking EMP resistant suits then I'm interested.
>>331588249
If the alien isn't there I'm not interested
Let's instead have a talk about how I returned you in less than a week and bought dead space 1 and 2.
>>331589556
you didnt already have Dead Space 1 and 2?
>>331587038
>Is there a mod or something that will disable the hostile AI so I can enjoy the story?
Turn the difficulty down to the lowest setting or just attack him with your wrench a few times until your fear is lessened and you can play the game normally.
>>331589556
I'd rather talk about how all 3 are excellent games
>>331589763
No, I was late to that party. I wanted to like isolation but too many things bothered me and it felt like a chore to get through.
>>331587690
Game gives you plenty of tools. Vents are you friend as long as you're not noisy. Make some noisemakers or flares to draw it out. Bang on the walls and then dive into a vent or crawlspace to get past.
This is more of an active stealth game. You have to be looking for ways to force the AI to go where you want it to go. Instead of memorizing patrol routes and shit you have to make the enemies go where you want.
>>331587038
let me guess, your first console was an xbox 360 brother?
>>331590391
My first console was a Nintendo Entertainment System and my last console was an N64.
>>331590371
I know, I just didn't care for it.
>>331590391
Let me guess, you're a faggot.
>>331586925
Working Joes deserve their spot as official canon in the Alien universe. They're so perfect.
When I made it past the first alien section I grabbed all my ammo and walked through ALL the sections of the station to methodically kill every single one of those fuckers. That felt good. But then
>please, give away your weapons moment
>indestructible androids moment
>more ayy lmaos moment
Say whatever you want, this game was stressful.
Fuck those robots honestly, they scared me
>>331583727
Lets be honest /v/, would you fug that robot?
>>331593475
I would massage that loose bit of silicon on his neck
Instantly regretted playing this game on hard due to these guys. Thank god for EMP's and the sprint button. Fantastic addition to the universe though and creepy as fuck
>>331592339
>stressful
It was and I was both glad and relieved when it ended albeit a little empty, it was strange. For me it was the atmospheric FPS since Riddick
