Never got why people liked Banjo Kazooie, just figured they were children when they played it and see it through nostalgia goggles.
They're not particularly well made.
Anyone else find Rare maps designs to be just bizarre? I know a lot of it was limitations of the tech but something about their maps just always bugged me. Very bizarre layouts with just weird direction and flow. It feels awkward and poorly thought out.
Either Freezeezy Peak, Witchyworld or Cloud Cuckooland.

Will there be any collectathon to top the original Banjo Kazooie? It had the right balance of collectables and map size, and each level was dense enough not to feel like an empty world.

I agree. I grew up with a PS1 and linear platformers. I don't understand the joy of wandering around in a playground. There's no increasing challenge, unless you want to be a jackass and count bug exploits as hidden depth.
Did you make that in Banjo's backpack? Anyone ever have experience with that program?

I don't really like any levels in Kazooie. It's weird. Can't choose one. I love the game, 9/10 for me but everytime I think about one the levels I remember bad things about them.
I love Tooie's though. All of them. Jolly Roger's Lagoon is just the best there is.
