Looks like a Steam anime fanservice game. All those are indications of poor quality, so I think I'll pass.The sad thing is, even if it is shit, it still might be the best recent metroidvania by default.

You can probably finish the game getting both the normal and true endings in one complete run in around 20+ hours. Plus theres varied difficulty levels and a few extra modes.
All in all, its a pretty good and challenging game overall.

I can't speak for the fanservice. I don't know if the story is atrociously non-sequitur or I wasn't paying enough attention but to me it was like a blurry inconsequential chain of events. I grew fond of the characters though. I guess it's touhou syndrome

Only thing going for Momodora is the art, everything else is objectively inferior to Rabi-Ribi.

The story is nothing to write home about, and this is not the kind of game that relies too much on fanservice (only a couple of CGs and that's it). Where the game really shines is in the gameplay department, you will get at least 20 hours of gameplay, and many many more if you want to beat the harder difficulties and boss rush modes.

I kinda like Momodora 4's music more than Rabi Ribi, and it's less bullet hellish than an actual action platformer, which I kinda prefer for these types of games. The music really adds to the atmosphere of the game and as you said before the art is a definite plus for it as well.
Though, Rabi-Ribi is definitely longer, has more to collect/do, has its share of good music which add to the more light-hearted aesthetic of the game, and a more complex fighting system, as well as being generally harder than Momodora.
