Shame the series has no love in the west, the River City Ramson makeover took its place and even that isn't very popular either, there was even some Kickstarter on a new River City game, the people behind that should have asked for money to bring the recent 3DS Kunio-kun games instead.

Yup, it got delayed, Marvelous gave no official word on the reason for that happening but people are speculating Uppers got extremely small pre-order numbers for game that would be released in April, and generally it wasn't atracting much attention.
I only the delay serves to make them polish further because from the video they were releasing the game looked really lacking, which is ridiculous since Takaki has evolved and learned from Senran Kagura to take like 10 steps back with the poor looking combat from Uppers.
