Not really. There are just times when Arino has died and the game sends him back to the start and they can't spend another 6 hours getting him back to where he was so an AD will do it. It's perfectly understandable and only the biggest autistic sperg could actually hate Arino or the show because of it. It's not "fake" in the sense that Arino does get through the games practically entirely on his own but just relies on the ADs for speeding things up when he's died.

I hate to say it but the inevitable happened and they started running out of games and interesting locations to visit. It was cool for awhile but now it's feeling more and more forced, especially since Arino got married and doesn't seem to give a fuck anymore. The scripting is getting REALLY obvious and it feels a bit phoned-in. RIP Nippon it was good while it lasted.
