Honestly i'm a hardcore faggot JRPG player and when I heard FFXV was some action game I basically dropped that shit and stopped looking at it, but now that i've seen more gameplay it looks fun as fuck. But I stopped my dislike of ARPGs by playing good ones so.

In fact he was the second character they ever revealed for the game back in 2007s trailer that was behind closed doors and he was shown as like a parallel to Noctis, he's also the one who steals the crystal. And in the 2013 trailer he's talking about the world ending which we now know he was talking about the plague of the stars. He's too shrouded in mystery to just be a rival.

Honestly, so many of the games released this year have been shit, but this one actually looks like it won't have a garbage enemy system and possibly a storyline I won't fall asleep through.
I remember when FF13 had first come out, combined with the new graphics of the PS3 at that time, it was such a great game and eyeopening experience.
Then shit like FF13-2 and Lightning Returns shows up and I want to smash my screen. Honestly FF13LR took a huge step back in the graphics direction and enemy system is fucked. FFType-0 had a great battle system and fun enemy system, besides wasting hours running around campus it was a great experience as well.
I'm still pissed off about Machina though.

I think it could've worked although I'm not to keen on this game's history (you could say I'm kinda new to FF since I only recently started playing these types of games again after growing up on KH and other jrpgs) also like I said before his other roles in previous works have that kinda feel to them,I can't really see them picking this guy for anything else,however if they did it'll be an interesting performance

Tabata already said that the only story change was Stella into Luna which only really changed the intro, while the rest of XV story still plays out as Versus story went and that it's still following that core, and that change was because they condensed Versus and it's sequels into one massive game with XV. So XV story is Versus plus whatever they had planned for the sequels with just Stella's role changed into Luna's role. That's why I think they are going to have the aged you Noctis as King at some point in the game.
