Oh, so you don't actually have much trouble with the Prismrivers. Still, I'm going to throw this out there in case it might be helpful for you or anyone lurking: If you constantly fire at a single one of the sisters during a spellcard, any further non-spells are changed to that specific sister's instead of the one whom you started the fight against. So if you kept shooting Lunasa, for example, during the first spellcard, then the non-spells after it would be all Lunasa's nonspells instead of whoever you started fighting with. It's useful if you find one of the sisters' non-spells easier than the others'.
As for Youmu:
>first nonspell: it's rather easy to get too dazzled, but try to keep it together. when she shoots the quick blue and red bullets, remember to only evade the blue ones - the red ones don't aim for your position

>fourth spell: this one is straight up dodging. if you can't take it then bombing is the way to go

Difficulty is subjective. Koishi is like Suwako in that 6-7 of her spells are either patterned (ancestors at your bedside) or gimmicky (polygraph) and once you learn the trick, you can pretty easily replicate it. I find her fairly easy, but everyone has their own thing going on.

Hard IN is ez. Hard MoF was less ez because the difficulty spiked quite a bit, but that's fine because the bombs were broken. Hard PCB feels doable to me, even though Youmu gets a lot less harmless - I just get fucked on stage 4 too much to try. Hard TD is pretty much the game's Normal.
Meanwhile DDC has never held my interest enough to seriously try, SA I practice on hard because the lesser amount of bullets on normal is actually confusing, but then when I start an actual Normal run, I can't clear it. UFO on Normal goes fine until I meet Murasa at which point I have no idea what to do not to get hit, and the stage 2 boss in LoLK is honestly far worse than Doremy.
Oh yeah, the no hitbox thing in EoSD starts fucking me up somewhere in late Patchouli, but using the hitbox patch feels wrong. Voile also has a tendency to wall me in and make me waste my bombs.

I actually seem to do better if I pull it to the lower end of the screen, and dodge the first two streams that way, and then stream side to side and back. Except that way I keep getting hit by shit from under the screen I wasn't looking at.
Got a similar problem with Miko's cards, but she's a stage 6 boss so I figured it's normal.

Well, her entire theme is duality and having to dodge bullets from both the left and the right at once. All of her cards do this except the prismatic discoballs one in the middle.
The first, second to last, and the last one can also place the bullets almost completely above and below you, though. But like I'm saying it's fine, because those cards are slow enough to bomb - especially on the last one, it's really easy to tell when you've fucked up.

IN has twice the amount of unique spellcards that DDC does, it gets even worse because the bosses change between difficulties a lot, while in DDC it's just more bullets on the same shit.
I guess all that work went into Impossible Spellcard, but I'd like it more if some of that shit was in mainline games.

I love Aya as a character, and I legit use her shot type the most because Yukari and Suika are boring. It pretty much changes the way you have to play the entire game, and in a fun direction too.
You basically just have to understand that when you bomb a boss, you are suppossed to stand right on top of them so both the forward orbs and the back orb hit him. It becomes a really good bomb then.
