I bought it and am having horrible buyers remorse. Only two playable races, constant crashing and the AI is stupid as shit and MP is full of tryhards.
Can't play whole game yet. That said, I've gotten to rank 10 in skirmishes, and it feels like a pretty solid interpretation of the board game. It makes me miss the board game. Makes me sad that gw will probably never give it a proper resurrection.
The game definitely has promise. If they do tyranids or necrons after space marines I'd be pretty stoked.
I'm not regretting the purchase.

Another good tip is to put AA to low. The game does not have actual AA, but isnstead puts a filter over the models and it makes them very blurry if AA is set to high

If they're asking money for it, they clearly deem it close to the final product. I'm not expecting them to start building the game from the ground up again just because it's early access.
Eternal Crusade is just inherently bad. It's like they took Space Marine's MP and fucking made it worse.

And anudda good tip for anything bigger than escort is to press this button for every ship. It makes it so that ship focuses his weapons at targeted enemy ship, but you can still issue move orders without it overwriting the targeting selection
The game looks really nice and the gamemodes are fun and diverse. Fuck Convoy defense against novaspam though

Blame the "Founders" shilling out $500 for the game waaaay before it was ever close to done and demanding early access.
The games development was a complete mess thanks to an overambitious developer and the autistic fanbase jacking each other off to ideas that were impossible to implement.

Yup, really looking forward to them. Right now I just play as the Imperial Navy and banzai into the middle of their fleet. I don't win a lot but god damn it's fun
