Mutant Mudds was terrible. I think that game was the point when I realized 2D indie platformers were a blight on the industry.

This bitch

He's the epitome of one of those "gamers are so entitled, don't you know how hard it is to make a game?!" indie devs.

What? I thought it was one of the good ones. It has great controls for a precision platformer.

I know the guy who made the game, he also runs a site called NintendoLife.

The level design was boring and the music was grating. The dev also made a Metroid clone that was free on the Vita Store. I can't remember the name but it was 4 levels long and had maybe 5 enemies.

The sprites are nice as far as indie pixelshit goes, but that's all it has going for it.

>sprites are nice
I played the demo and they couldn't keep consistent pixel sizes for various sprites. It's also incredibly slow and the platforming just feels awful without any momentum.

Xeodrifter?

Xeodrifter was fucking awful. They tried to market it as a classic good old Metroid game but it was bland as fuck. Level design is terrible, weapon customization is useless, and there's only one, single boss in the entire game that keeps getting rehashed.
>>
>>331309419
Mutant Mudds is by the Xeodrifter dev? At least now I know to avoid it.
>>
>>331309419
I can vouch for this, the game is a 6/10. Beat it in one sitting and I wasn't even binging
>>
>>331309530
Yeah. I played both, so if you don't like Mutant Mudds, don't even try Xeodrifters, it's worse.
