Dead Rising 3 was released over one and a half year ago, but the original price is still at full. Even with 70% discount the game is not worth it. It has released some average reviews, partially because the game port is bad and buggy.
Dead Rising 2 is better and more worth it.
Bumping, I also want to know if it's worth it. I've played 2 already.
It's fun and runs fine for the most part what video card you got?

Not OP.
GTX 760.

Ran it with an i7 4770 and a gtx 760 at 1080p 30fps
Had to underclock the gpu slightly because it was summer time and it would heat up like a bitch
I figure if you get the 760 to 1200/1300mhz you can hit 60fps
Maybe not constantly though

Dead Rising 3 is pretty good, but I don't know how well it runs on the PC, it was fine on the Xbone though. I wouldn't recommend DR2, it's alright but it's my least favourite of the series. Get Off the Record if you can.

2 is good. 3 is shit.
Decent. No real difference from the xbone version other than more zombies onscreen. Makes my rig heat up more especially in coop but overall it's meh.

I think I'm one of the few who enjoyed how much easier it has become. Being able to just create weapons from your locker and vehicles on the go, made it a fun experience. I just hate how the world is designed.

>760
DR3 is a bad, unoptimized port. Go with 2, its cheaper and is a much more stable port. With a 760 you'll have to fiddle with settings to run DR3
Source: I got dr3 when I came out and also had a 760. You'll be able to run it on mediumish settings.

Unfortunately not.
Anyone knows if they're bringing the capcom super edition or whatever it's called on PC soon?
Does it run alright in a i5 6500 with a 970?

Dead Rising 2 is fucking garbage. I enjoyed Case Zero more than the actual game.
Can we make this a Dead Rising General?
>>331303162
Yeah, I was a little underwhelmed by it too. It just didn't feel as good.
I've probably got nostalgia goggles on, but I really want to play some Dead Rising, will three satisfy?
By dead rising 2 I assume you mean OTR? It was my first dead rising since I only do PC, and I had a blast. If you've ever dreamed of being locked in a mall at night with no repercussions then this game is as close as you'll ever get. DR3 wasn't that good. It didn't have a theme, and without a fun theme it's just a zombie hack and slash.

Yes, but first we need thread music.

Yeah, DR3 is a legit good game. Give it a try.

Depends on what framerate you are aiming for
A 760 can max shit out easily at 30-40
It ran fine on my gtx 670
I don't get a lot of the hate this game receives, the only real problem I noticed is that the longer the game goes the easier it gets as you level up your skills, eventually you reach a point where you're basically unstoppable and the game stops being a challenge but that doesn't happen until near the end of the game

DR music is literally best game music.

One of my favorite game series, I love Capcom despite all their hate nowadays
I'm buying it, guys.
>it's another faggots claiming OTR is better than DR2 rerun
If you truly liked Dead Rising 1 then you'd see what OTR does horribly wrong.

they're both__fun__

>OTR retconned best grill into a domestic terrorist.

OTR is basically DR2 Gaiden, so none of it counts, anyway. The official ending is DR2 A.
