BB doesn't have magic so your point is moot.
It does, however, have bosses that you can circlestrafe and spam R1 or R2/L2 with heavy weapons.
Case in point: merciless watchers, NPC hunters, ebrietas, celestial emissary, darkbeast paarl, living failures, vicar amelia, witches of hemwick, cleric beast, micolash
it also features two bosses that are completely harmless on their own, requiring only that you approach them from the sides and kill the adds: rom and one reborn
no because the healing system is atrocious, the game loses all steam after vicar amelia, the second half of the game is obviously rushed, that being post byrgenwerth where the frustratingly tedious yahar'gul exists, where nightmare frontier in all it's pointlessness exists, where castle cainhurst exists with it's lack of reward and lack of interest exists, where upper cathedral ward and it's relative smallness and poorly designed bosses exist, where nightmare of mensis and micolash, the worst boss in the series other than BOC exists , the multiplayer is garbage, their are a significant amount of boring and/or minion surrounded bosses, the game has little reward for exploring , the armour choices offer very little incentive for cusomisation and removes weight based movement design, the game has tedious and unfun enemy design in points, brainsuckers and brain trusts as examples, a lot of the shitty starting weapons feel samey and further diminish the sense of variety, the chalice dungeons are full of unfun tedious nonsensical design like Rom being a boss in a small room, the games combat feels faster and lighter than souls at the expense of also feeling less weighty and strategically satisfying.
It's the best exclusive game on PS4 though.
