It's hardly shit but both Sigma games made changes that casualized the games a tad/made them easier and added in extra shit that was out of place and of far lower quality than the rest of the game. Part of that is likely due to Itagaki and other key staff leaving, but I doubt it's the only reason. Razor's Edge ended up doing the opposite by improving the base game, making it harder, and adding in worthwhile content.
