With that out of the way, what are your expectations for the remake? Do you like what you see of Midgar so far? Do you think we'll get great depictions of places like Junon, Costa Del Sol, Gold Saucer, and Cosmo Canyon, and Wutai? What do you think of the revealed character designs so far? What are yourfears?

YES
I'm fact, I like just about everything I've seen so far. The only things I don't like are a few of the things I'm hearing, like episodic and whatnot, but I'll give SE a chance to show what they have in mind before I make a judgement call on those things.
There hasn't been any news about this game for like 6 months. Have they dropped the project?
I don't follow games as much as you guys do, and I don't understand the concept of "episodic". I mean, I can visualize it on a shooter, or those teltalle games, but how will they do it on a RPG, where leveling, farming and gimping yourself up are so important? If my stuff gets transfered to the next episode, what will keep people off of grinding like hell until the next episode is released?
I just want to know how long each episode will be. I hope there aren't more than four or five, and I hope that the first one at least ends when the party makes it out of Midgar.

level caps. Not that difficult to imagine. Take Trails in the Sky, for example. I'm pretty sure there's a level cap in the first game, and then the second game starts you off at a specific level.
