The Empire from Star Wars finds a BFG 9000 as well as blueprints on how to make it, what happens?

Does 10000 DMG
Turns OP into a fag
>>331231064
the rebels destroy it
Why was the BFG9000 so unusual compared to the rest of Doom's arsenal? Even the plasma rifle was just that, a rifle.

If they were smart, they would mass produce them and give them to their soldiers. Since it does massive splash damage, they don't even need to hit what they shoot at to kill things.
But since the Empire are idiots, they would make one of them and test fire it at some inconsequential target. Rebels would see it and would steal the plans for the gun, finding a key structural weakness in it's design which they could use to destroy. Because the Empire never copied the original plans, they can never reproduce the gun.

BFG
Big
Fucking
Gun
And it suits that name.
Your point?
>>331231772
Actually the problem with the Death Star wasn't that it's weakness, but the sheer cost needed to make one. You can't exactly mass produce something like that.
>>331231567
Because it's the ultimate weapon, it needed to be completely different from the others.
>>331231953
well they made 4 of them
and the 4th was super-sized or something
>>331232172
The reason why they made 4 was because George Lucas was given the writing pen.
>>331231953
I wonder if the thing they used in TFA was more or less shitposting expensive than a regular Death Star.
>>331231850
The thing being basically a rocket shooting 40 invisible minirockets in a 45 degrees angle after exploding.
It's too over the top compared to the regular weapons (a pistol, shotguns, machine gun, rockets).
>>331232256
Yeah because otherwise they would make precisely none.
>a station the size of a fucking planet
>is designed in such a way that it can be completely fucking obliterated in one go
Might as well build a card house that size while they were at it. No sane person would even consider such a risk let alone make it using the plans that describe said weakness in detail.
>>331231064
They would make it and 99% of their troops would be dumbasses who think the BFG ball has an area of effect when in reality it is a hitscan ray that shoots out in front of them so they will constantly kill each other.
>>331232974
Wouldn't the blue prints point that out? After all something like that would be very important to point out to their soldiers.
Kyle Katarn steals it then everything gets retconned by ideas from the deesney.

>Stormtrooper A and B start friing their BFG. 1 B is behind A.
>BFG ball from B hits a target and consequently fires off the bfgrays that kill Stormtrooper A
>BFG ball from A is still flying
>Stormtrooper B decides to move to a forward position in front of the corpse of A
>BFG ball A finally hits something
>Stormtrooper B gets blasted from behind and dies.
