Mega Bloks has been leagues better than Lego since fucking Dragons, way better character sculpts, custom molds in almost every set, cost way less. Sure back then sometimes the pieces were fucking retarded hard to get together, but it was worth it, shit started getting real with Pyrates, the figures went from being blocky little bastards to miniature action figures, If you're a collector the Halo and maybe Asscreed figures are worth collecting on their own outside of the sets.

Lego wouldn't tie in with what was up until last year a purely m-rated science fiction games with a large military bent to them. Star wars is OK as that's more fantasy based but they try to avoid outright military things.
