Just buy stuff from eBay
You'll get a better price if you don't mind following your searches for a few days. Default search "Newly Listed" and "Buy it Now" and refresh it in a background tab when you think to. There are always people who list good games for cheap but they don't last long

Just ask questions beforehand and make sure there are actual pictures taken. I've been an eBayer since 2003 and have only had one major issue. It was a red Wii system last year that I bought that was supposedly brand new and unopened. They had a photo of the box and it looked fine. The seller had good feedback so I took their word that it was new. It ended up being used (I could tell from scuffs on the console/missing packaging/original wiimote sleeve) and eBay got me my money back. The seller never sent me a prepaid return label so I actually just kept the system for free.
From my experience eBay has always taken the side of the buyer when there are issues.
