Mass Effect 3. Same low quality but Deus Ex wasn't ending off a closely tied trilogy with the promise that every discission over 3 games would influence it.

Human Revolution's ending didn't bother me. I think that trying to make Jenson a catalyst in major, course of human history levels of events was a mistake and it's a shame that the last segment of the game was unfinished but it still felt thematically appropriate. Not showing the exact outcomes doesn't bother me though, the game was all about what the different views on transhumanism meant and the ending did a good job of getting me thinking hard.
Mass Effect 3 was just a lazy, creatively bankrupt piece of shit though. It's clear that the series changed direction with 2 and then 3 barely even seemed to have one.

The worst part about 3for me personallywas that they cut the full Anderson speech at the end, that shit was gold and had the game ended on that moment and just did the calculations of how "prepared" you are to pick your ending, I think it would have had a much less vile reputation

and that's not even going into the plot holes the size of the fucking moon riddled all throughout the final hour of the game as you witness whats left of story cohesion falling apart at the seams. that color choice was the cherry on top of the shit sundae
