I dunno how I would feel about this. I don't like touchscreen buttons. Off screen play is good enough as it is, I don't feel like they needed to take it any further then that.
This would confirm my biggest fear, that mobile phone users are their next "blue ocean" target, making a system that is familiar to them and their touch screen phone games.
I know this doesn't mean much since I bought a Wii U in the first place, but if they went this route I would quit Nintendo consoles entirely at that point.

Haven't people been keeping track? The sun and moon leak many people thought wasn't real, but turned out to be true.
