I was referring to plot/tone, Shadow the Hedgehog played differently but it took place in the Adventure universe and made it stupider. My suspicion is that the recent games went more lighthearted because shit got fucked the last time they tried to make something "dark."I speak in relative terms, of course.
Sonic 06 was fucked up in so many ways that doesn't really provide a particular thing for Sega to avoid beyond minding the human characters.
So if it is sonic adventure 3, what alternate gameplays would you like to see? I mean its kind of stupid to ask for an adventure 3 but not like the other gameplays...
