"B-based CDPR! C-can do no wrong, r-right guys!"
Someone explain this.
Agreed
I fucking hate niggers so much.
The main problem with DA2 wasn't hiding the dialogue, it was boiling down every choice into "nice guy, asshole, SO FAHNNY JOEK." Just like Fallout 4's problem was making every choice "yes, different kind of yes, more info, sarcastic." The Witcher actually gives you worthwhile options based on the choice, within reason for Geralt's character.
Hiding information is also not much of a problem in TW3. The snippets they give you are a pretty good representation of what you're going to say. TW2 had a few moments where the choice didn't seem to match the outcome ("very funny" = "fuck you") and they got roasted for that, but I don't recall ever having a moment in 3 where it felt like I said something I didn't mean to say.
It also helps that in The Witcher you're playing a very well-defined character and you can simply influence his actions within reason. They've never been full-on "role-playing games" in the truest sense. Whereas in Dragon Age you're supposed to be able to make the character yours, and DA2 followed directly from the much-better DA:O where you could actually do that.
>tell a person he's funny
>"fuck you"

>dragon age 2 or fallout 4
>you are playing an avatar of yourself, you usually have control over your choices (doing something bad or good) and can control what you want your character to convey
>witcher 3
>play as Geralt, with a predefined morality, you have control over his choices but he's his own character

nagger
The problem with Witcher 3 is the voice acting of Geralt being flat and awful.
