You'll start seeing Risen fights appear on the map. Fight those for bullion, which is for selling in stores for a lot of gold. You will occasionally find an enemy or chest on a standard map with bullion as well, although those are rare.
You can also purchase one/some of the DLC maps and play those repeatedly, generally for some bullion as well.

Basically anyone can solo the map with an S-rank pair up and enough levels. The game is fairly broken in that regard.
Donnel is fairly good because Aptitude (his starting skill) boosts the chance of each stat going up each level by 20%. Hand it off to a kid for someone even better. Plus, Donnel gets access to Hero (Sol) and War Monk (Renewal) making him really hard to kill, plus passing those classes on to his children as well.

Every time he levels up, he has a 20% higher chance at a stat boost than without the skill.
Stick it on a kid with, say, 60% STR growth, and it's now 80%. Stick it on someone with 80% STR, and it's now 100%. Stick it on someone with 100% HP growth, and it's now 120% HP growth. (Guaranteed 1HP each level, possible 2HP.)
And yes, it applies to all stats every time they level up, as long as they have the skill equipped.

The game is already easy enough, you earn plenty of gold just following along the campaign. This game is really easy to break by itself without unlimited gold.
