It's a pretty simplistic isometric hack n slash with some charm, that's it. The only standout is the storytelling style with the constant narrator.

Installed it months ago, Steam says I played for a whole of 109 minutes. It's not very good. Kinda boring. Art, music and narrative are cool. Gameplay is just meh.
It's a game that doesn't do anything terribly or great. If the narrative style and setting doesn't hook you then you will find it bland.

I think the story is overrated because there aren't really any characters. Silent protagonist Kid is cool, narrator is cool, the others are just empty shell designed to allow the muh feels ending. Cheap. The backstory is fine but again it's too vague to give me any sense that the world was ever worth defending in the first place.
