Hack your wii to either be region free, or hack it to play ISOs and either buy or download all five Taiko no Tatsujin games for it.

Fuck that, Rodea is trash. It's fine for collector's, I suppose, but there are much better options out there.
Personally, I'd recommend things like Sin and Punishment, Wario Land, Pandora's Tower, maybe The Last Story if you're an old school Final Fantasy fan, Skyward Sword (That game is great, don't believe the haters) Little King's Story, and ExciteBots.
I'm assuming you already have the super well known games for it, by the way. Mario Galaxy is a must.
Xenoblade Chronicles. But it is hard to track a copy of te game down, unless you don't want to buy 100 bucks upwards...

There's a lot of actual good games, most of them aren't jaw dropping but still highly enjoyable if you're into genere. For instance aside a couple of Sonic games I find everything Sega published on Wii pretty good, Sonic&Sega All Stars Racing is much better than MK. Conduit 2 works splendidly with the pointer, also all those light guns games are a must have to me since the pointer was the best thing for the Wii.
And if you're into Wii Sports genre give it a try to Go Vacation which has a neat free roaming option
