Does anyone remember Suda 51's Shadows of the Damned?
I always thought this game had a ton of charm.

It's their worst game by far. It's gameplay is generic and boring rather than shitty yet interesting like his other games and the writing is 90% dick jokes.
Honestly it felt a lot more like a Ninja Theory game than a Suda game.
It's a gem, that's for sure. I hate Resident Evil-style shooters, but I pushed myself through the entire game because of the kickass style.
Also climbing on that naked chick was one of the coolest levels I've ever played and I'm not just saying that because of the table-splitting boner I got when playing it.
Could have been much better in the gameplay, but I really liked the story, setting and characters.

I thought it was an RPG. All I remember is that it was free to play and was announced ages ago and since then nothing. At least it's kept him busy until NX releases so he can make No More Heroes 3 for that.

This was literally my dream video game when I was in high school. I think the game sucks, it's a huge piece of shit that's not funny and doesn't have the weird charm of any Suda51 game prior, any style of anything Yamaoka ever touched (but he's a portishead rip-off mostly anyway) and is not fun to play like anything Mikami made.

it was charming and it's probably one of the few Suda 51 games I actually like.
I'd never pay $60 for it because it's horribly generic but it was worth the $10 I paid for it.
