Are you guys worried that P5 might be a bad game? I know we're all excited for its release, but what happens if we end up hating it? What if P5 is the Modern Warfare 3 of the series?

I am more worried that I will convince myself that I love it until a month in, like MGS5.
After months and months of delays, we'll all jump on it the moment it's released and talk about how we're playing it nonstop and loving it.
Then a month later, we'll face it objectively and might have to say "You know, this wasn't worth years of waiting and endless cashgrabs of Persona 4"

Fuck no. I've enjoyed MGS5 for like the first 5 hours, but after that I got bored. But the majority here still defended it like their own baby.

I loved, then utterly hated, then didn't mind and then kinda liked MGS V, being that I felt the first two while playing it and the others as time went by.
It certainly showed me not to be hyped for anything ever again, which I had learnt from GTA IV's launch (carbon copy reaction as above), but I still fell for MGS since, well, it was fucking MGS, no way it could go wrong. So I'm convincing myself every launch I'm excited for will probably suck.
Hype is just a stupid high risk bet with little to no actual gain, and the only thing we can get out of it is the pure excitement of being comitted to such a high bet.
You guys will love it for the waifu's alone.
