Hellbent on shitposting to keep easymode loot train gameplay at the forefront and all but delete PvP.
Game could have been good, but PvP, which was the only selling point of the thing, is severely punished and it has probably the single worst "community" I have seen in 20 years of being an MMO gaming faggot.
You'll enjoy the PvE to cap, I know I did. But games like this live or die on their PvP.

Itsfun, but PvP needs overhauling already. The system out now makes the Dark Zone a literal PvE hugbox and all the danger and mystery of the zone is just lost. The most fun I had was when I accidentally killed a dude rounding a corner and went rogue but then I lost a shitload of exp and loot cause FUCKING ROUGIES REEEEEE.
I'd love to make a Dark Zone Gang and claim it for ourselves but the penalty for dying while rogue is just way too fucking harsh

The most recent self post with 1800 upboats talks about people wanting more for endgame being entitled. The second self post with 2400 upboats says that PVP should NOT be better because it's SUPPOSED to be fatal and horrible. Or some shit.

If you tend to play solo, it is going to be a thoroughly mediocre looter shooter with the usual open world busywork of item collecting, log finding, and other what not. If you play with groups, it can be a real blast depending on how far along you are.
The game loves its bullet sponges and enemy waves later on, so spending time in the Dark Zone becomes a must.
The DZ sees plenty of PVP despite the bitching. It isn't uncommon to see two man gank squads knocking off solo players. People intentionally run in front of player gun fire to trigger rogue status.
The game is pretty, but the lack of environmental interaction is kind of a let down.

The rogue system is stupid as fuck, it makes the "non-hostile agent" hover over players pointless if they play rogues like that. To find out if someones rogue, keep the occasional ping on but to find out you need to aim at someone to look. But no, lets make this a piss party and invite every kenfag in a 3 block radius to the party.
