Fun fact: Trey Parker became incredibly depressed, and was VERY afraid of releasing this episode after it was finished, and begged Matt Stone and (I believe) a producer on the show to talk Comedy Central into skipping that week, and not airing it.
In his words, "I literally considered killing myself. I was so afraid of ruining South Park forever."
He was afraid of what people would say and think of the episode, and was afraid everybody would turn on them and hate them into cancellation and everything.I love Trey. I hope he at least learned something from this.
