Anon, I loved Xenoblade but you have to admit it was super generic. The story was largely predictable as they marked the box for every stereotype and trope.

Framerate got choppy near the end. The graphics were pretty shitty and i just wish i played it on a better system.
I enjoyed it, the game is great. Just if i was to recommend the game id 100% send them to a version on a home console.

The only real problem with it is shader compilation stuttering. Same problem that plagues the Metroid Primes, but to a lesser degree in Xenoblade. Hack builds of Dolphin like Ishiiruka can help, but its settings tend to be either too lenient leaving some stutters, or too aggressive which causes graphical problems.

Xenoblade is an incredibly overrated game with generic as it gets combat. The music sucks too because the game is mostly massive open fields with generic tracks on repeat.

If you're asking how much the N3DS version takes advantage of the platform...
Not much. Not at all in fact. There's no touch screen functions whatsoever and the mini-map will be the only thing occupying it 80% of the time (when you're not in menus) and said mini map looks like fucking garbage.
If you have a Wii U just get the Wii version from the E-Shop for like 20 bucks. You can entirely play it on the gamepad
