I disagree with your disagreement, but I can understand why you would disagree.
Going Commando is certainly a game worthy of being considered the best game in the series, but I still feel like UYA takes it.
I also highly recommend both major PS3 games. Tools of Destruction and A Crack in Time are both quality games that can very much be enjoyed.

Its weird because I fucking loved the series on the PS2, the original R&C was actually the first game I ever got for my PS2 on a whim and it blew my mind with how much I enjoyed it.
But even ages after I got a PS3 I still haven't gotten the newer games. I did end up buying the R&C HD collection and started playing those again though.

I'm fairly certain that the PS3 trilogy can be gotten for bargain bin prices now. Definitely worth to look into. You can probably get each for like $10 at GS or something.

the magic is a little gone on the newer ones but the gameplay is still there. ratchet not being a jaded boner kinda ruined it.
Everybody's wrong, it's Going Commando. UYA had those mediocre war levels instead of classic R&C. Craig's gunplay was terrible. GC has the perfect blend of shooting and platforming. The only weak point is the final boss. The characters and writing were amazing.
