Realistically, what are the chances of cross platform MP ever becoming a standard for games?
Obviously PC vs console won't happen in most games (especially shooters). But what are the chances of a game like Battlefield 5 or this year's COD having PS4 vs Xbone capabilities?
It's up to the developer, so don't get your hopes up.
And it all depends on if Sony agrees to it.

this only applies to shooters and i'm not arguing that. obviously you'd never crossplay with pc when it comes to shooters there's an unfair advantage but that advantage doesn't necessarily exist for games like rocket league or minecraft
